Alpine Ski Line Chronic

Line is a pretty big name in the freestyle industry and their Chronic helped building this notoriety. 92mm at the waist, a stiff flex and a traditional camber make it the ideal park gun. It’s got pop, it’s got tons of underfoot power, it’s lively, agile, it’s got what you need for ratcheting your level up a notch.

What can the 2018 Line Chronic ski do?

From park to piste you can lay airs and butters all day long with the Chronic. It is a great freestyle ski that’s going to help you spread your wings over the resort. It is pretty stiff which is handy if you jump off big kickers but it makes the ski poppy and responsive and not that easy to manage. However, you get edge serious grip in exchange.

Who is the Line Chronic 2018 ski designed for?

An explosive gun for intense park sessions . The Chronic is a great pick for intermediate and advanced freestylers who want more pop to fit more tricks in their bag. The ski works well off the park too.

What are the main assets of the Line Chronic 2018 ski?

Structure - Construction

  • Capwall Construction  :

A blend of Cap & Sidewall construction. Cap on the top and sidewall over the edges for a light & responsive cap-feel, with durable, solid, smooth sidewall performance.

  • Maple Macroblock Core  :

100% maple core : this wood delivers the best ratio lightweight/strength. Better longevity for the camber and the reactivity.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • Sintered Fatty Base & Edge  :

Double thickness of the edge and base : extreme resistance and durability.

    Fast sintered base.

  • Symmetric Flex  :

The same ski flex in-front and behind your boot conforms to terrain for equally performance riding forward & backwards.
