Alpine Ski Line Tom Wallisch Pro

Who doesn’t know Tom Wallisch, one of the most iconic and most creative freestylers ever. He rides for Line Skis and has his own signature model named the Tom Wallisch Pro. The ski was designed for hardcore freestyling, it is stiff, powerful and almost unbreakable. This 2018 version comes with the same shape as its previous version but features new graphics inspired from Pittsburgh, Tom Wallisch’s city of birth.

What can the 2018 Line Tom Wallisch Pro freestyle ski do?

The ski has one main mission: tear the park apart and annihilate every single feature. Featuring a strong construction, XXL edges and a stiff flex, it has got what it takes to be one of the best freestyle ski on the market. It links tables and kickers with a stunning agility and pops off features with power. The ski doesn’t feel weak as all, it is lively and stable, ideally suited for high speed charging. However, the stiff flex compromises playfulness. Butters, press and jib tricks are not super easy to deal with. It is more of an air blade than a street weapon.

Who is the 2018 Line Tom Wallisch Pro designed for?

We recommend this model to expert freestylers who want a ski loaded with explosives. Designed to shred the park like no other ski, the Tom Wallisch Pro is also an excellent piste rider thanks to a stiff and responsive flex.

What are the main assets of the new Line Tom Wallisch Pro freestyle ski?

Structure - Construction

  • Capwall Construction  :

A blend of Cap & Sidewall construction. Cap on the top and sidewall over the edges for a light & responsive cap-feel, with durable, solid, smooth sidewall performance.

  • Maple Macroblock Core  :

100% maple core : this wood delivers the best ratio lightweight/strength. Better longevity for the camber and the reactivity.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • Sintered Fatty Base & Edge  :

Double thickness of the edge and base : extreme resistance and durability.
