Alpine Ski Scott Scrapper 115

Fancy challenging the best pro riders in the Freeride World Tour? You should bet on the Scott Scrapper 115 and you won’t be disappointed. It features tip and tail rockers and an extra wide waist for powder, but it’s also reinforced with carbon to become a light and  lively partner. This technical ski is waiting to show you what it can do!

What can the Scott Scrapper 115 ski do?

With such a rocket-ski, there’s no point in hoping to lay precise short turns. This monster is designed to run down the fall line and reduce the entire mountain to ashes. Cliffs, cornices…nothing can resist to the Scrapper 115. With this ski you can gap roads and stomp natural booters and land down the hill. It delivers high-end landing stability and can put up with everything. This ski also provides you with stiffness and power that are really welcome when you need to get out of difficult terrains and technical spots. In wide powder fields, the Scrapper 115 is incredibly enjoyable! It floats naturally on fresh snow and allows for super smooth long turns at full speed. Impressive!

Who is the Scott Scrapper 115 ski designed for?

Many riders dream of such a ski, but only expert skiers will be able to make the most of it. With its very stiff carbon construction, the Scrapper 115 is as demanding technically as it is physically.

What are the main assets of the Scott Scrapper 115 ski?

Breaking power

High speed stability

Buoyancy on powder

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Long turns

Shape

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Weight of the pair in grams

  • 3400 (182cm)

Structure - Construction

  • Tip to tail woodcore  :

The long woodcore gives the ski a more consistent flex and more fluidity through transitions.

  • Sandwich Sidewall Construction Paulownia  :

LIGHTNESS & EFFICIENCY - By combining a Paulownia wood core with Carbon stringer laminates, SCOTT created a super lightweight ski with a great flex and torsional rigidity.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Twin-Tip Rocker M  :

Twin rocker places rocker on both the tip and tail of twin tip skis to allow for maximum float when riding forward or switch. Tail rocker also improves ski handling by allowing the tail of the ski to sit deeper in the snow bringing the tip up resulting in total domination is deep snow.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • 3D Sidecut  :

Revolutionary technology combining 2 radius with a central straight sidecut, allowing twin rocker skis to be brilliant on off pist with an excellent edge grip on pistes.

  • Factory Finish  :

SCOTT skis come direct from the factory "ready to ski" with SCOTT factory finish. Every factory finished ski leaves the factory with side edges ground at 89° and base edges ground between 0.5° and 0.8° for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.
