The Clash is one of the best boards you can find to begin riding. It’s the definition of an easy board, ideally suited for discovering the joys of snowboarding. Moreover, it is the opportunity for every rider to buy their own gear at the best value.
What can the Burton Clash snowboard do?
The Burton Clash is an entry level snowboard suited for those who want to make fast progression. We all know that the first days of snowboarding are not necessarily the most enjoyable ones. Edge catches, balance, everything is a struggle. But if you pick the right board that’s adapted to your needs, it can change everything. Well, guess what. The Clash is this board. Featuring an ultra-forgiving flex making the board mellow and easy to bend, it’s easier to keep balance and position your weight over the board. The contact feel on the snow is soft and silky and the directional shape allows a more natural steering. Turns are more predictable and the board in general inspires confidence. You can even venture off piste once you master the basics and see how it feels to lay a track on powder.
Who is the Burton Clash snowboard designed for?
The Clash by Burton is an entry-level snowboard, soft and forgiving, perfectly suited for beginner riders looking to secure their progression and have fun from the first days. Intermediate riders will like it too if they’re looking for an easy and forgiving board.

The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
Features a jib-friendly, low-torsional flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel.
Lightened up and loaded with pop, our dual-species wood core utilizes dual-density vertical laminations of alternating softwood/hardwwood to reduce overall weight with no sacrifce in strength or performance.
With an overall easier feel, Squeezebox Low brings high-end core profiling technology to the progressing rider. Stiffer zones just outside your feet create a more direct energy transfer to the tip and tail, while enabling a softer, smoother flex between the bindings. The end result is more control with less effort from the rider.
Classic shape for a versatile use. The nose is slightly longer than the tail.
New profile : flat between the feet and rockered tips. Allows even more stability, balance and control.
This catch-free edge tune combines with rocker on the Clash™ and Feather™ to help new riders progress, and good riders get even better.
Symmetrical flex, from nose to tail, for a perfect balance when riding switch or regular.
Fast and versatile, this extruded base is easy to maintain.
Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.
