Note: The actual colour of the board's base may be different than the one shown on the picture. Brands make them randomly.

You won’t find a board that’s got more history than this one. The Custom...just by saying the name of it we get shivers down our spine. Over 20 winters have gone by since its first release, each of which bringing innovations and new technologies to keep the board at the top of the snowboard industry.

What can the Burton Custom snowboard do?

The Burton Custom is an iconic board, knowned and reknowned for the versatility it provides to riders. Here in a cambered version, the board has a lot of pop and tons of character. It busts through any terrain with an effortless ease and it feels lively under the feet. The camber delivers a confidence-inspiring stability on rough terrains and a great reactivity with an excellent edge hold on hard and groomed snow. Carving amateurs are going to be happy. Off piste, the board is a touch more technical, the camber makes it unforgiving and only a good technique with strong legs will manage the board. If you have it, you’ll enjoy the breaking power of the board which destroys anything on its way. Riders with ambitions should also have fun in the park.

Who is the Burton Custom snowboard designed for?

It’s a board that we recommend to most riders as it can do everything. The cambered profile makes it a little demanding and best suited for advanced riders looking for a do-it-all / shred-anything ripper.

What are the main assets of the Burton Custom snowboard?

Manufacturer info :

  • Directional

Structure - Construction

  • Dualzone™ EGD™  :

The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.

  • 45° Carbon Highlights Hi-Voltage Fiberglass  :

Carbon Highlights optimize each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride.

  • FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core  :

Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight.

  • Squeezebox  :

Squeezebox is a patent-pending technology that transfers energy outward from under your feet, energizing the tip and tail for added snap when exiting a turn and ollieing. Thinner core sections underfoot transition to thicker, more powerful areas between and outside your feet for a more stable board that can be powered up and manipulated with less effort.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Directional shape  :

Classic shape for a versatile use. The nose is slightly longer than the tail.

Rocker - Camber

  • Camber  :

An advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Offering a snappy suspension, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board allowing for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail.

  • Frosbite edges  :

Edges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining ever forgiving in softer conditions.

  • Flex Twin  :

Symmetrical flex, from nose to tail, for a perfect balance when riding switch or regular.

  • Infinite Ride™  :

This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

  • Pro-Tip™  :

A tapered Tip and Tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

  • Sintered WFO Base  :

Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays Wide F!#@ing Open all season in any condition.

  • The Channel  :

Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.
