This is Burton’s Custom Smalls, a junior board for every mini rider looking for an easy and forgiving partner on the slopes. Strap on this gem and ride anywhere on any slope regardless of the conditions or terrain.

What can the Burton Custom Smalls snowboard do?

The Custom Smalls is a junior-specific snowboard that fits in the freestyle/all-mountain category. The board is very nimble thanks to a twin shape and a Flying V profile enhancing pivot, floatability and forgiveness. You get a good compromise between pop, edge grip and manoeuverability. The board is light and rides well on all terrains that you can find on the mountain. The gnarliest kids will probably take the board through the snowpark where the board feels stable and inspires confidence. It’s easy to gauge your speed and pop off kickers with style. Young freeriders may also want to go lay tracks in the backcountry with mom and dad. Fine, the rockered profile of the board will keep them afloat through the deep. It’s a true all-rounder ideal for an all terrain progression.

Who is the Burton Custom Smalls snowboard designed for?

Thi sis an excellent choice for every kid who masters the basics of snowboarding and who wants a lively and versatile ride on his feet. The Custom Smalls ensures fun and progression but requires an intermediate or advanced level to be tamed.

Structure - Construction

  • Dualzone™ EGD™  :

The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.

  • Biax™ Fiberglass  :

    Features a jib-friendly, low-torsional flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel.

  • FSC™ Certified Super Fly 800G Core  :

Lightened up and loaded with pop, our dual-species wood core utilizes dual-density vertical laminations of alternating softwood/hardwwood to reduce overall weight with no sacrifce in strength or performance.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Shape Twin  :

The shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.

Rocker - Camber

  • Flying V  :

A Springloaded blend of camber and rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float through pow. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, and power through turns.

Other

  • Flex Twin  :

Symmetrical flex, from nose to tail, for a perfect balance when riding switch or regular.

  • Pro-Tip™  :

A tapered Tip and Tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

  • Extruded base  :

Fast and versatile, this extruded base is easy to maintain.

  • The Channel  :

Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.
