Structure - Construction

  • Biax™ Fiberglass  :

    Features a jib-friendly, low-torsional flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel.

  • FSC Certified Fly™ Core  :

Our classic tip to tail wood core, the 900G model utilizes the best of two wood species to lighten the load by 10% without sacrificing flex, pop or strength

  • Squeezebox Low  :

With an overall easier feel, Squeezebox Low brings high-end core profiling technology to the progressing rider. Stiffer zones just outside your feet create a more direct energy transfer to the tip and tail, while enabling a softer, smoother flex between the bindings. The end result is more control with less effort from the rider.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Directional shape  :

The most versatile snowboard shape, made with a longer nose and gather the pop in the tail while keeping a good float. You'll keep control at all times and can ride any kinds of snow.

Rocker - Camber

  • Flat Top  :

New profile : flat between the feet and rockered tips. Allows even more stability, balance and control.

  • Easy Rider  :

Easy Rider on the Genie, Chopper, Chicklet, Riglet, and After School Special gives riders an incredibly soft and forgiving board thats's virtually impossible to catch an edge off the snow and a super soft flex, these boards make it easy to learn balance and borad control.

  • Directional flex  :

This versatile flex enhances tail's pop and stiffens the nose for a better control on all terrains.

  • Extruded base  :

Fast and versatile, this extruded base is easy to maintain.

  • The Channel  :

Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.
