This is hype at its best, the Micro Scope is Capita’s offering to kids and junior riders and it’s one of the most playful snowboards our mini testers got to use. Its poplar woodcore is ultra light and very flexible making it perfectly adapted to children’s needs. It makes a more forgiving board allowing more mistakes without punishment. Profile-wise, the board comes with a zero camber between the feet which enhances stability and maoneuvrability and it has two rockers in the tips for added playfulness and higher powder performance. It’s a twin tipped board that you can ride regular or swith as you like.
What can the Capita Micro Scope junior snowboard do?
This kid-specific snowboard will help all mini shredders to discover the joys of riding. The board is built on a soft and mellow construction inspiring confidence and providing a more comfortable glide on the snow. This coupled with the specific shape makes turning easier and intuitive. The board leans on its edge naturally and doesn’t feel too hooky between two turns, it’s great for fast improvements. The rockers make it ultra versatile as well and if your kid knows how to deal with groomed snow, he can very well have a go in powder and lay his first tracks on the deep. It’s also a good option for aspiring freestylers, the twin shape and the playful flex deliver the best freestyle personality ever, allowing kids to work on their tricks with confidence.
Who is the Capita Micro Scope junior snowboard designed for?
It’s a board designed for any kid, regardless of his style. Freestyle, freeride or piste, the Micro Scope is ideally suited for progression on all terrains. The board is fun and enjoyable, it’s a real snowboard for real mini riders!

The FORM 6 glass configuration consists of 612g/m2 biaxial fiberglass placed on both the base and topside of the core ech layer having fibers oriented in zero and 90 degree angles laminated to increase energy and durability. This progressive glass configuration is laid up wet by hand during the lamination process and provides a durable predictable board that initiates turns easily, while retaining the pop necessary to handle variable conditions.
Providing consistent, easy, predictable flex while maintaining strength and forgiveness is what the Poplar core is all about. This basic kids core holds up to anything the groms can throw at it without breaking the bank.
Zero camber between inserts and reverse camber through the tips: this makes the board nimbler and playful for shredding any terrain.
Extruded base featuring lively designs but keeping its physical abilities such as a good glide and an easy maintenance.
