RIDE 2016 BOARD BURNOUT

SNOW 2016 : Présentation de la board BURNOUT de RIDE par Arnaud, conseiller snow chez Glisshop.com

Snowboard Ride Burnout

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Wanna lap the park all day? Ride’s giving you the right  tool for it with the Burnout. The board is loaded with freestyle DNA and destroys competition like no other board. If you have the skills for rodeo-ing the black kicker line, Ride’s offering the muscles.

What can the Ride Burnout do?

The Burnout’s character mirrors the picture on it. The board works like a muscle car and runs through the park leaving no features untouched. Its microcamber and rockered nose and tail combined with a solid flex give the board tons of pop without sacrificing the play feel in the tips. The board feels nimble and lively, you can rely on its stability no matter how fast you ride, which is great if the kicker ahead is big and requires speed. But a powerful board is still demanding and only technical riders will get along with it. Construction-wise, the board features Ride’s Slimewalls in urethan. They help absorbing shocks and impacts due to rail rampage and also make landings smoother. The Burnout is a real park and pipe ripper, it grips hard, pops even harder and climbs walls if needed.
This is what we call freestyling!

Who is the Ride Burnout designed for?

The Burnout is best suited for advanced and expert riders who need a poppy, responsive and stable ride for shredding parks and streets. It is a board that needs to ride fast, if you want something playful and flexible, pick another board.

Structure - Construction

  • CARBON ARRAY™ 5  :

This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in three levels of technology, 3, 5, and 7.

  • Popwalls™ sidewalls  :

This totally unique sidewall combines layers of Slimewall® and carbon strategically placed at the inserts out to the contact points in the tip and tail on a twin, and the back inserts to the contact points in the tail on a directional board. The new and exclusive tech enhances the charging riders’ experience as we have moved the carbon pop construction to the outside edge for better stability and enhanced response.

  • Slimewalls®  :

Ride's exclusive Slimewalls are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

  • HYBRID GLASS  :

Triaxial on top and biaxial below, torsion and stiffness are balanced for a better response at high speed.

  • PERFORMANCE Core  :

Aspen wood very dense combined with bamboo and other light woods to provide a perfect balance between strength and lightweight.

Rocker - Camber

  • Hybrid Twin  :

This twin shape features micro-rocker in the tip and tail and a level micro-camber zone between the feet.

Other

  • CLEAVE EDGE  :

One piece of steel goes round the whole board perimeter for a better protection against chipping.

50% of extra steel provide more resistance against cracks and can be adjusted for a wider radius.

  • Die Cut
  • Flat Kick Tip
  • FUSION 4000 base  :

Stronger, harder, faster than extruded bases - known to be the fastest base (sintered)

  • Centered stance
