Snowboard Rossignol Angus

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Angus has become an iconic board in Rossignol lineup. If it has a bias towards freestyle it remains ultra versatile and shreds any terrain.

What can the Rossignol Angus do?

Twin shape, rockered tips, nice pop, the Angus has quite a few cards to play. But you need to ride it to truly realise how powerful and fun it is. The board feels incredibly nimble and links kickers and rails with a ridiculous ease. Flexy and playful thanks to its rockers, the board is really easy to move around and easily pressable. You'll land tricks you didn't think you were capable of. On deep days, we recommend that you leave the park and seek natural kickers in the wild. The board floats naturally on powder and turns into a freestyle backcountry board. It's also a good carver and if there's no pow to slash and if the park is closed, you won't be disappointed to see how the Angus works on groomers. Piste, park and pow, if you thought your old board was versatile, the Angus will make you think twice.

Who is the Rossignol Angus designed for?

If you are a freestyler and you're looking for a freestyle-oriented board, versatile enough to take you anywhere, the Angus is a safe bet. Playful, agile and lively, this is an excellent board to progress your snowboarding game.

Structure - Construction

  • Magne-Traction 5S  :

On this newest version, Magne-Traction 5S, Rossignol has taken the 7S Mag and removed the 2 bumps directly on the outside of the feet and kept the 3 in-between, creating a catch-free and very forgiving ride that offers perfect edge control where it’s needed most.

  • Wood CBF core  : Woodcore offering the best compromise of durability and performance on the market.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Twin All-Mountain Flex  :

Symmetrical flex • Stiff under feet for punch and grip • Stiffer waist for stability at high speed.

  • Radcut  : TURN TECHNOLOGY: A traditional sidecut between the inserts fuses with multiple reverse sidecuts toward the tip and tail, providing real time sidecut adjustment to the ride, ie. longer when faster, shorter when slower, and delivering the perfect cut at all times. RadCut is off ered in multiple versions, each tailored for individual riding styles. More aggressive sidecut blends deliver quicker, livelier turns while smoother sidecuts offer a more fluid, relaxed ride.

Rocker - Camber

  • AMPTEK All Mountain  :

2011-12, we continue to refine our story with 3 versions of AmpTek designed to enhance every style of riding. Unlimited mobility with the AmpTek Autoturn, superior punch with the AmpTek All Mountain, and explosive pop with the AmpTek Freestyle. • AmpTek is for everyone. • AmpTek makes snowboarding easier. • All 3 versions were designed for any terrain and all conditions. >> More control, more stability >> Great combo with Magne Traction >> More edge pressure >>Smoother landings >> Very nimble in the powder >> Softer tips/ Stiffer waists

Other

  • Roller BC  : BASE TECHNOLOGY: An industy-first, Rossignol's Roller technology raises the edges of the snow by milling the core of the board. The BC Roller raises the edges off 1mm of the snow at 2° tilt along the entire running length delivering ultra-smooth edge-to-edge transitions and super-surfy floatation in pow. Floats like a wide yet turns like a narrow.
