Description

With the Retox, Rossignol is releasing a pure traditional freestyle board with camber all that. Add to this cool graphics inspired from the movie Jaws and derived with cat and mouse for getting extra style when stomping park features and you know people are going to talk about you next winter!

What can the Rossignol Retox snowboard do?

This is a board designed for park shredding. It feels super lively and loaded with energy thanks to its traditional camber. Ollies are explosive and you can easily go big off kickers. But the board also features rockers in the tips allowing easier press and more rail friendliness. As a good modern freestyle board, the Retox can perform off the park as well. It’s always nice to find a natural kicker beside the piste or jump in powder and work on tricks you do not have on lock. It’s a real good twin-tip gun that floats, carves, rips and shreds anything on the mountain. If you need to boost your creativity, this is a good choice.

Who is the Rossignol Retox snowboard designed for?

The Rossignol Retox is a good match for park riders looking for agility, pop and playfulness. The board deals with kickers as well as rails and performs off the park just as fine. A good pick for any intermediate riders in need of progression.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
