The Snowscoot comes from France in the beginning of the 90's. Franck Petoud, BMX rider, wanted to retrieve the sensations of his favourite sport and designed a hybrid machine made of a frame and two big skis allowing it to glide and manoeuver. Since that time, snowscoot has become a popular ride and thousands of them are built every year. Demo-ed at the winter Olympics in Turin, 2006, the sport included the following events: Downhill, parallel slalom, scoot-cross, Big-Air or freeride. Snowscoot is authorised in most resorts and it is really successful as it is easy, affordable and fun!
