Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rossignol Revenant snowboard has a powerful construction and a perfectly symmetrical shape, but on the contrary, it has inserts bindings that are slightly setback that provides more manoeuvrability and snow versatility.

What is the Rossignol Revenant snowboard programme?

The Revenant is the typical example of the directional twin. It's a board with a perfectly symmetrical shape and flex from nose to tail allowing you can switch riders without difficulty, but with setback inserts that provides more control in curves and a natural lift. It is therefore easy to handle, versatile and good at freestyle. It also has a great grip thanks to the combination of the 5S corrugated edges with the classic camber. This camber also provides ollie pop and bounce in the turns, while the rockers with spatulas further improve deceleration and make transitions between turns easier. It's a board with which you can draw beautiful lines on any terrain with a good dose of speed and adrenaline, but which also allows you to load kickers and place tricks.

Who is the Rossignol Revenant snowboard intended for?

This model will suit snowboarders who like to ride on all terrains, go out in powder snow when the conditions allow, but also do freestyle. We recommend it to snowboarders with a confirmed to expert level.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
