Description

Compatibility: refer to our compatibility chart to check that your ski touring boot is compatible with this binding. As indicated on the chart, some boots are compatible with the Marker adapter. This adapter is available to order (retail price €19.90).

This binding is compatible with skis with runner widths between 100mm and 125mm.

The KINGPIN is the first binding with inserts to successfully meet the DIN ISO 13992: 2007 standard of the German TÜV organization. It is the fruit of cooperation between Marker engineers with their many years of experience and the know-how and expertise of Marker's hiking team athletes. The KINGPIN has a release system with a well-defined adjustment range that you can trust completely. This binding also has a function that compensates for variations in active length, ensuring a good release even when the ski's flex is under strain. Tests carried out with special equipment have shown that the KINGPIN release is always the same. The very special heel unit of this binding enables direct and efficient transmission of power, resulting in the best possible skiing performance on both ascents and descents. The KINGPIN has been designed down to the smallest detail to ensure the most comfortable operation, with the use of the ascent wedges and the switch from walk to ski mode made easy.
