Alpine Ski Atomic Vantage 95 C

2016 welcomes the new Vantage series, completely redesigned to provide a more powerful skiing. Designed to ride powder and hardpack with consistent performance, the Vantage skis are light and strong, suitable for all terrains.

What can the Atomic Vantage 95 CTI do?

Those who were familiar with old Atomic Vantage Theory will recognise the sidecuts of the 95 CTI. This new ski was derived from the Theory and has the same mission: destroy the mountain. But Atomic redesigned it and made it more powerful, more durable and lighter, which helps a lot! The Vantage 95 CTI is the ski you would use if you want something that works on any terrain the mountain has to offer. On the hardpack, the ski offers a reliable edge control and remains precise throughout the turns with an excellent energy return. On powder, same story, it feels good and playful, it floats naturally and manoeuvers with ease through obstacles thanks to the tip and tail rocker and the 95mm waist. There’s hardly anything you can’t do with the 95 CTI, and it’s not that hard to control. The light construction spares your legs from hardcore pain. In the end, Atomic managed to built a one ski quiver for skiers who want to have fun all day long without riding twice on the same slope.

Who is the Atomic Vantage 95 CTI designed for?

We recommend the 95 CTI to intermediate and advanced skiers looking for an easy all-mountain ski that handles all snow conditions.
It is not as demanding as you’d think it would be and it’s quite nice to end your day and still be able to walk normally ;)

What are the main assets of the Atomic Vantage 95 CTI?

Lightweight
Agility
Easiness

Structure - Construction

  • Carbon Tank Mesh  :

Mesh layer, super stiff, reinforcing the ski without making it heavier.

  • Firewall  :

Sidewalls have an effect on shock absorbtion and energy transmission. Full sidewalls under the binding with flex grooves for a better energy transfer and more edge control on hard snow.

  • RENU Step Down Sidewall  :

In the heart of the ski there are different materials and essentially different kinds of wood that will determinate the behaviour of the ski. This poplar wood core is ideal for the powder, the all-mountain ski and the touring ski requiring strength and lightness.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Adaptable Camber  :

For all kinds of snow and terrain, as good on slopes as out of bounds. An ultra-versatile rocker thanks to a slight tip and tail rise.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • Extra-Thick Base and Edges  :

Our extruded bases of the 7000 serie offer a fast glide on all snow conditions, they are developed to attack on every terrains and easy to maintain.

  • Resist Edge  :

    More resistant edges.

  • Coating  :

Composed by 50% of colza oil, our coatings are ultra light and extremely resistant.

Binding technologies

  • Triple Pivot Elite Toe  :

The toe construction with DIN/ISO up to Z 18 allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

  • Touring mode  :

    Walk mode for touring

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.
