Alpine Ski Line Sick Day 110

The Sick Day series is made of 4 skis, 4 widths. The Sick Day 110 is the widest of the line designed for shredding every single square inches of powder.

What can the Line Sick Day 110 do?

You can guess what the ski is made for at first sight. 110mm at the waist, a massive double rocker featuring the Early Rise technology, it is obviously towards deep powder that the Sick Day 110 leans. You can go nuts through wide powdery fields, try to ride as fast as you can and lay the longest possible turns, it’ll never be enough. The no-camber profile makes the ski super nimble and playful without compromising performance on hard snow, ensured by a stiff core reinforced with maple inserts providing responsiveness and durability. It is an amazing freerider suited for all riders who like to go big.

Who is the Line Sick Day 110 designed for?

Technical hard chargers with advanced or expert level. If you are one, then you have chances to be able to tame the beast. Just make sure your legs are ready.

What are the main assets of the Line Sick Day 110?

Floatation
Agility
Edge control

Structure - Construction

  • Capwall Construction  :

A blend of Cap & Sidewall construction. Cap on the top and sidewall over the edges for a light & responsive cap-feel, with durable, solid, smooth sidewall performance.

  • Maple Macroblock Core  :

100% maple core : this wood delivers the best ratio lightweight/strength. Better longevity for the camber and the reactivity.

  • Thin Tip™  :

Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight and tip bounce.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Early Rise  :

Tip rise starts earlier in the ski so the tips effortlessly rise out of powder & stay on top without needing to sit back.

  • Early Taper  :

The widest point of sidecut starts tapering earlier in the tip to reduces tail drag and hooking in powder.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • 5-Cut Geometry  :

5 different sizes of sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.

  • Directional Flex  :

The softer tip floats & initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides reliable powerful turn exits, & stability.

  • Sintered Fatty Base & Edge  :

Double thickness of the edge and base : extreme resistance and durability.

    Fast sintered base.

Binding technologies

  • Triple Pivot Elite Toe  :

The toe construction with DIN/ISO up to Z 18 allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

  • Touring mode  :

    Walk mode for touring

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.
