Alpine Ski Line Sick Day 95

The Sick Day series is made of 4 skis, 4 widths. The Sick Day 95 is the ‘smallest’ one in the line, if we can call it small. That means it’s also the most versatile and easy to manage.

What can the Line Sick Day 95 do?

95mm at the waist. Not too wide, not too narrow, just enough to ride everywhere with ease. The Sick Day 95 floats on powder naturally thanks to the dual Early Rise rocker keeping riders above the surface effortlessly. On hard snow, you can rely on the aspen woodcore bringing liveliness and edge control to their best. The ski feels comfortable on any terrains, its flat camber delivers agility and playfulness, however, expert skiers might want something stiffer to be able to charge harder. Unless they’re looking for a real toy that bends and jumps as they wish.

Who is the Line Sick Day 95 designed for?

The ski is a lot more forgiving than the other Sick Days and covers a larger spectrum of skills. Intermediate, advanced or even expert riders will have fun with this quiver, regardless of where they ride.

What are the main assets of the Line Sick Day 95?

Versatility
Agility
Easiness

Structure - Construction

  • Maplelite Macroblock Core  :

Solid Maple under foot with light weight Aspen at the tips for durability & reduced swing weight.

  • Thin Tip™  :

Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight and tip bounce.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Early Rise  :

Tip rise starts earlier in the ski so the tips effortlessly rise out of powder & stay on top without needing to sit back.

  • Early Taper  :

The widest point of sidecut starts tapering earlier in the tip to reduces tail drag and hooking in powder.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • 5-Cut Geometry  :

5 different sizes of sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.

  • Directional Flex  :

The softer tip floats & initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides reliable powerful turn exits, & stability.

  • Sintered Fatty Base & Edge  :

Double thickness of the edge and base : extreme resistance and durability.

    Fast sintered base.

Binding technologies

  • Triple Pivot Elite Toe  :

The toe construction with DIN/ISO up to Z 18 allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

  • Touring mode  :

    Walk mode for touring

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.
