Alpine Ski Line Supernatural 108

The Supernatural 108 is the next step to take if the Supernatural 100 seems too narrow to you. On the menu: more performance, more powder, more fun.

What can the Supernatural 108 do?

The ski comes with almost no camber and features the Shockwall construction providing excellent shock absorbtion and stability. It is a freeride oriented ski designed with powder in mind, meaning groomers aren’t its favorite playground despite an undeniable versatility. The titanal incorporated in the construction keeps the ride stable and grippy, the ski behaves when it rides straight through bumps and chopped up snow. You know that you’re safe up there, letting the ski do the job instead of your knees. In short, the Supernatural 108 is a versatile performer that handles well any conditions you may meet in the backcountry and that delivers a nice playful feel all day long.

Who is the Supernatural 108 designed for?

The 108 is a good in-between in the sense that it feels more pow friendly than the Supernatural 100 but it’s more forgiving than the 115. We recommend it to advanced or expert skiers looking for a powder gun that remains stable in hard conditions.

What are the main assets of the Supernatural 108?

Versatility
Agility
Floatation

Structure - Construction

  • Metal Matrix  :

Die cut titanal, or composite laminate provides more power & grip where you need it under foot & at the tips, while reducing weight where you don’t.

  • Maple Macroblock Core  :

100% maple core : this wood delivers the best ratio lightweight/strength. Better longevity for the camber and the reactivity.

  • Shockwall  :

Incorporates a full height & length 80 durometer Elastometer sidewall over the edges to absorb vibration & shock for a smooth solid ride like a Cadillac

  • Thin Tip™  :

Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight and tip bounce.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Early Rise  :

Tip rise starts earlier in the ski so the tips effortlessly rise out of powder & stay on top without needing to sit back.

  • Early Taper  :

The widest point of sidecut starts tapering earlier in the tip to reduces tail drag and hooking in powder.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • 5-Cut Geometry  :

5 different sizes of sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.

  • Directional Flex  :

The softer tip floats & initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides reliable powerful turn exits, & stability.

  • Sintered Fatty Base & Edge  :

Double thickness of the edge and base : extreme resistance and durability.

    Fast sintered base.

Binding technologies

  • Triple Pivot Elite Toe  :

The toe construction with DIN/ISO up to Z 18 allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

  • Touring mode  :

    Walk mode for touring

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.
