Alpine Ski Movement Go Big

There is no going home, with the new 2017 Go Big made in Movement means business! Its predilection terrain: bottomless powder. To gun down the hill and lay big trenches in deep no better weapon than the Go Big and its full rocker. From the side, this alpine ski has a banana shape on the whole length. If you add a 115mm waist you have an astounding buoyancy surface.

What can the Movement Go Big ski do?

No matter if you have 10m of fresh underfoot, with the Go Big you just need a minimum of speed to keep you afloat and smear beautiful lines in powder. Its integral reverse camber is a killer and eases manoeuvres. You can drop in thoughtlessly and get tons of adrenaline rushing through your veins. Hang on to those blades, the Go Big by Movement drops cliff like nobody’s business and delivers an insane dexterity to shred pillows and everything else on its path. It is still demanding and requires good technical and physical conditions. Only the best riders will have what it takes to tame this beast.

Who is the Movement Go Big ski designed for?

We advise this big mountain ski to bold and thrill seekers with good skills. The Go Big is made for big powder days.

Type of turns

  • Long turns

Shape

  • Bidirectional (twin tip)  :

The ski shape allows to ski forward or backward.

Structure - Construction

  • Construction CTS performance Plus
  • Double Plate Reinforcement  :

Movement has developed a system using 2 pre-treated fiber gass plates of differing sizes on top of each other inserted in to the binding zones to improve the flex of the skis, but also to improve the hold of the binding itself

  • Poplar Light Core
  • VA-TECH  :

The VATECH system is a layer of vibration-dampening rubber inserted under the binding, for better edge grip and a smoother ride. The NOSE VATECH system replaces the ABS plate on skis with a tip wider than 135 mm. This rubber layer smoothes the ride and dampens vibration of extra-wide tips.

Camber type

  • Reverse camber  :

Its name says it all. The camber is reversed for an optimum manoeuvrability, and a playful freestyle feel. It's generally the camber you'll find on freeride skis.

Technology

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • P-Tex base 4000 1.3mm  :

High density base for a better performance and a longer lasting base.
