Alpine Ski Scott Punisher 110

From Dane Tudor to Loïc Collomb-Platton, many pro skiers are relying on Scott’s freeskis for beating records and pushing their own limits. The Punisher skis are performance machines made to shred.

What can the Scott Punisher 110 do?

The Punisher 110 is an iconic ski in the industry and most skiers have heard of it already. It is a powder hound, it is the ski you take out when it’s been dumping all night and you can’t even get the car out of the driveway. The Punisher is a very complete performer, it carves and rips and shreds and slashes all over the mountain. Featuring a generous 110mm platform providing support and power, the ski plows through crud with strength. The twin rocker offers a nice floaty feel and makes the ski super agile on powder despite its impressive sidecuts. The construction of the ski provides the kicker boost every backcountry freestyler needs to pop off a booter with good landing skills. The twin rockered shape makes the ski very playful without compromising stability when the speed gets cranked up. The Punisher 110 is a fantastic explorer loaded with performance and playfulness.

Who is the Scott Punisher 110 designed for?

This powder weapon is best suited for modern riders with an advanced or expert level looking for a powerful backcountry ski that can shred endlessly in all conditions.

Structure - Construction

  • Tip to tail woodcore  :

The long woodcore gives the ski a more consistent flex and more fluidity through transitions.

  • Sandwich construction with slanted sidewalls and elliptic laminates  : FORGIVENESS & VERSATILITY - SSCL combines a laminate top and bottom sheet with a traditional sandwich sidewall construction. SCOTT optimized material usage to provide a construction that drastically reduces the weight of the ski. Specific braiding and different combinations of laminates guarantee the best possible construction for their intended use.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Twin-Tip Rocker M  :

Twin rocker places rocker on both the tip and tail of twin tip skis to allow for maximum float when riding forward or switch. Tail rocker also improves ski handling by allowing the tail of the ski to sit deeper in the snow bringing the tip up resulting in total domination is deep snow.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • 3D Sidecut  :

Revolutionary technology combining 2 radius with a central straight sidecut, allowing twin rocker skis to be brilliant on off pist with an excellent edge grip on pistes.

  • Freestyle Finish  :

Scott Freestyle Finish is especially designed for a more playful freestyle ski. The main difference from the factory finish is the bigger base edge angle of 1.6°. This larger angle makes the ski easier to spin and more forgiving on landings and rails.

Binding technologies

  • Triple Pivot Elite Toe  :

The toe construction with DIN/ISO up to Z 18 allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

  • Touring mode  :

    Walk mode for touring

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.
