Description

Ideal for safe navigation in powder fields, the ABS A.LIGHT Base Unit airbag backpack is absolutely perfect for splitboarding, freeriding or ski touring. It features 2 independent airbags that inflate in less than 5 seconds, providing enough floatability to stay on the surface of an avalanche. This significantly increases the probability of not being buried and therefore your chances of survival. 

Compact, the ABS A.LIGHT allows you to carry the essentials without being burdened by the superfluous. It has a specific compartment for mountain safety equipment: shovel, probe, first aid kit. Its 10-liter volume can be supplemented with an additional 15 or 25 litre extension pocket (sold separately). 

This avalanche backpack offers the possibility of carrying a water bladder. During the ascents, it allows you to carry a ski helmet or clothing on the outside. The external straps are used to transport a pair of skis or a snowboard. 

It also has a crotch strap to stay securely attached in all circumstances. It has a small pocket to store your smartphone. This insulated pocket prevents the battery from discharging prematurely due to the cold. Super comfortable on the way up and very enveloping on the way down, the ABS A.LIGHT backpack has an adjustable back panel whose padding protects your back from the shovel and probe in case of a fall.
