Description

Based on the Ascensionist mountaineering backpack, the Patagonia Descensionist 32L is dedicated to freeride and ski touring. It is equipped with 2 carrying systems, one for a snowboard, the other for a pair of skis. Designed to be light and not to weigh you down during ascents, it can hold all your mountain safety equipment (shovel, probe, arva), organized in a zipped pocket with elastic drawstring. Designed to meet the needs of off-piste enthusiasts, it is made of durable Cordura nylon and ripstop polyester. Its soft material offers a solid resistance to tears and abrasion.

The Descensionist 32L has a large opening for easy storage of your gear. The drawcord allows you to tighten the collar and close the flap, so that protection from snow is optimal. The side zipper opening provides another convenient and quick access to the main compartment. The zippered pocket on the flap keeps small accessories close at hand.

The Patagonia Descensionist 32L backpack features adjustable shoulder straps, a chest strap and a padded hip belt with a storage pocket. The high-density foam back panel provides a secure fit when the bag is heavily loaded. Compression straps allow you to adjust the bag to its contents, while the two gear straps allow you to attach a few accessories to the outside.
