Description

When talking about assisted braking belay devices ones immediately thinks about the Grigri, which has dominated the market during years, gathering many followers. The Beal Birdie has the ambition of stealing the spot. It works on the same principle, but stands out by its smaller size and is smoother when leading. For top roping it is quite similar.  

It can be used with any dynamic single rope with a diameter between 8.5 and 10.5 mm.
