Gecko

The brand is easily recognisable with its logo symbolizing the footprint of a gecko. The brand Gecko was a revolution in the world of ski touring. Mickael Puelacher and its austrian company MP Sports developed a new system of adhesive climbing skins, without glue, based on silicon. It took engineers 10 years to get something truly workable but it was worth the wait. This innovation solved the common problems due to repeated skin use. Thanks to molecular suction, Gecko skins and stick to your skis whether they're dry or wet. No need to fold them cautiously in a net with a protective band, you can even wash them in a machine. And of top of being super convenient, Gecko touring skins are super efficient. 100% mohair or mixed, they offer a great traction on the uphill.
