La Chaussette de France is the outcome of the fruitful collaboration of Benoit Seguin and Gérald Viossat. The two friends wanted to hit the mass market with versatile socks that would offer technical performance, elegance and comfort to practice sports like skiing, snowboarding, trekking or trailing. The brand belongs to the group Tismail, settled in Troyes since 1961, and produces 3 millions pairs of socks every year. The group had already a solid experience at making efficient products thanks to another collab work with the ski manufacturer Rossignol and used it to improve its product performance. Socks from La Chaussette de France offer specific reinforced areas to ensure optimal comfort throughout the day. The warmest and softest materials are used, including silk, cashmere, angora or merino wool, and they are combined with the finest threads like silver, Coolmax, Bioceramic, Green thread, Friction Free, etc.
