Tentree is a brand of eco-designed lifestyle clothing for men, women and children. The name Tentree, which translates as "10 trees", was not chosen at random. Not only does the brand use Tencel, a natural fibre derived from wood pulp, in the production of its clothing (as well as also organic cotton, recycled polyester and hemp), it also engages with partners in the reforestation programmes. Alongside NGOs such as One Tree Planted, Trees for the Future, Eden Reforestation and Plant With Purpose, Tentree has already planted more than 30 million trees and restored land in more than 8 countries. The brand's goal is to reach 1 billion trees by 2030. Planting trees is one of the simplest and most effective ways to fight global warming, by increasing our planet's ability to process carbon dioxide through tree photosynthesis.
