Description

One of the latest additions to the Fischer range of classic skis is the Twin Skin range. Halfway between the performance range and the leisure range, it is designed to allow less experienced skiers to discover the pleasure of skiing in classic style, all with a very good level of performance.

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Twin Skin Superior Medium cross-country ski?

Made of compromises, the Superior is similar to the Race range with the big difference being its internal structure. The core is made of air-channel wood with a superimposed layer of honeycomb and a basalt fiberboard. It is slightly heavier, but still benefits from this structure to gain strength and to withstand shocks and other falls. The basalt plate gives it a very present dynamism at the end of propulsion very appreciable on a ski in this category. The Medium camber adapts well to the type of skiers for which it is intended, because the ski crushes easily and allows to find the grip. The Twin Skin can system composed of two dissociated slats is particularly well thought out because it promotes the phases of glide without penalizing the restraint. Stable off-track, it is easy to handle in turning steps and technical passages. Like the whole Fischer range, it has IFP mounting plates designed for mounting Turnamic bindings, compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic shoe standards.

Tolerant with the right amount of character, it is suitable for occasional sports skiers who are looking for a technically easy ski. Ideal for long outings in comfort, it can also show its dynamism when the opportunity arises or if you want to push it a little. It offers a very satisfying grip comfort, especially when you are still looking for support.
