The Custom X benefits from the same versatile shape as the Custom. This means it's a directional twin, symmetrical from nose to tail but with binding inserts set back very slightly. The aim is to improve lift in powder snow and facilitate curve entry, while keeping the board very pleasant to switch on, making it a good freestyle board. In terms of materials, we've taken the Custom to the next level. The Custom X features a higher-grade wood core with a better power-to-weight ratio, but above all a layer of carbon fiber in addition to the fiberglass layer for added power and torsional rigidity. The result: more grip, more pop, more stability. With the added bonus of a classic, well-marked camber, the Custom X is ready to carve up the piste in carving, take maximum speed and get you high off the ground in ollie.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
