We are offering for sale models with cosmetic defects. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction or manufacturing defects. A classification based on their condition has been established: This snowboard has been rated as 3*, meaning it has barely visible defects.

Palmer brings us supercharged boards designed for speed and intense sensations. The Platinum Freeride DLX does not shy away from this, with its poppy poplar core enhanced by carbon fibres. Based on a hybrid camber that combines traditional camber underfoot with a slight rocker in the nose, the Platinum Freeride DLX excels on groomers as well as in all-mountain freeride.

What is the Palmer Platinum Freeride DLX snowboard made for?

Before you get on this beast, tighten your boots and adjust your bindings properly because once the Platinum Freeride DLX takes off down the slope, nothing can stop it. It's capable of carving turns at an incredible speed, with astounding precision, even on completely icy groomers. This boosts your confidence, encourages you to push even harder, and leaves everyone else behind. The same goes for all-mountain freeriding. The Platinum Freeride DLX can tackle a steep chute as easily as it can a slope blanketed in powder. Just enjoy its speed to automatically float and what a joy it is to grip on crusty snow while maintaining total control and perfect stability.

Who is the Palmer Platinum Freeride DLX snowboard aimed at?

This snowboard is aimed at carving enthusiasts and lovers of wide-open spaces who think of only one thing: going big on every run. However, be warned, this board requires flawless technique and strong legs to be ridden properly.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
