The Rossignol District Infrablack model is a versatile snowboard designed for beginners and freestyle enthusiasts. It forgives technical mistakes, offers good manoeuvrability on groomers, and the ideal flexibility for performing freestyle tricks.

What is the Rossignol District Infrablack snowboard made for?

The District Infrablack features a full Twin Tip shape, meaning the board is perfectly symmetrical. This allows you to ride in both directions with great ease, which is ideal for freestyle! In addition, this snowboard has a soft wood core and a slight camber that offers excellent grip on groomers. Its softer flex forgives mistakes and provides some pop at low speeds, enabling you to progressively gain confidence and safely try out some jib tricks. If you wish to venture off groomers and diversify your riding, the snowboard's rocker will let you have fun in bumpy areas by easily floating in deeper snow.

Who is the Rossignol District Infrablack snowboard aimed at?

This model is suitable for beginner to intermediate snowboarders. Its forgiving construction will allow you to refine your technique smoothly and gain confidence gradually. And when you're ready, you can even delve into freestyle, as the flexibility of this board makes it easier to perform jib tricks.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
