Description

We are offering models with cosmetic defects for sale. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction or manufacturing defects. The screen printing was scratched during transport or while stored in our warehouse. A grading based on their condition has been established: This snowboard has been rated as 3*, meaning it has barely visible defects.

The Rossignol Evader snowboard provides everything you need to progress in the right conditions. It is a versatile board that allows you to easily initiate turns and is suitable for riding on groomers as well as in the side country.

What is the Rossignol Evader snowboard made for?

The Evader snowboard features a directional shape, meaning the nose is longer than the tail of the board. The advantage of this design is that the nose offers better float in powder, while the stiffer tail provides stability at high speeds. It's an ideal shape for exploring the side country without restriction. Rockers at the tips of the board make it easier to lift out of fresh snow and transition from edge to edge. With a traditional camber profile in the middle of the board, the Evader delivers excellent grip and very good control of your line. The set-back stance of the bindings towards the rear of the snowboard also makes it easier to initiate turns, regardless of the snow condition. This entry-level snowboard will forgive your edge mistakes while helping you to manoeuvre easily across the entire ski area.

Who is the Rossignol Evader snowboard aimed at?

This snowboard is recommended for beginner to intermediate riders looking for a model that is easy to handle. The Evader is particularly suitable if you wish to transition from groomers to the side country in search of deeper snow.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
