Description

The POC brand presents the Pocito Fornix Spin as a junior ski helmet that can speak for your child when he can't, if he is unconscious after a fall for example. This is made possible thanks to the NFC TwICEme chip integrated inside the helmet. It can contain all the data that you think it is appropriate to transmit to the people who will be at the scene of the accident before you. The advantage is to reduce the response time in the event of an emergency. This chip can contain the child's identity, blood type, parents' telephone numbers, etc. This information will be readable from a smartphone equipped with the twICEme app. 

Apart from this very new technology, the Pocito Fornix Spin children's ski helmet offers the youngest skiers and snowboarders the best protection in the event of a fall or collision. Its fluorescent colour is highly visible, giving other skiers time to react to their presence on the slopes. Its reflective details improve their visibility in low light conditions, making them even more easily distinguishable.

The Pocito Fornix Spin has a very efficient design. It combines a lightweight polycarbonate shell, an aramid penetration barrier, Spin technology and an EPS lining, all to protect the head in the event of repeated falls and impacts. The Spin technology consists of pads placed inside the helmet which, by moving independently and in a multidirectional way, absorb the amount of force transmitted to the brain. It is inspired by the role that cerebrospinal fluid plays in the natural protection of the brain. The EPP lining on the inside of the helmet is thicker in strategic areas, helping to absorb repeated shocks.

As safe as it is comfortable, the POC Fornix Spin ski helmet is equipped with earpieces designed in a way that does not affect balance and audition. It is equipped with an adjustment wheel and a chinstrap that allows for a precise adjustment to ensure a perfect fit. It has different adjustable vents that regulate airflow and promote breathability. Finally, it has a strap that can be used as a strap for a ski goggle is equipped with a Recco reflector, a rescue system that allows mountain rescuers to locate a victim buried under an avalanche.
