The Mammut Taiss men’s mountaineering jacket is probably the best value for money in its category. Technically speaking, if one wants to dwell of what makes it stand out, Mammut’s Drytechnology membrane boasts 27K waterproofness but mainly an exceptional breathability at 48K, immediately setting the tone, this model is built for intense use. Another important point for mountaineering, the hood! It is of course compatible with helmets, but also adjustable in height and width with a single drawcord, even with gloves on. The pockets are design to work well with a harness, while still offering easy and quick access to your items. The Taiss is worthy of Mammut’s reputation in terms of technologies, quality and attention to detail.
