Description

The beginners' probe with Quick-Lock locking system: the ALU 240 is reduced to the essentials. The Quick-Lock locking system allows for a quick and easy assembly. It can be assembled in seconds and just as quickly unlocked and stored. Its optimised adjustment screw allows the tension to be adjusted quickly by just one turn of the screw. Its voluminous tip with a slightly larger diameter than the rest of the probe allows for better penetration. Its weight of only 200 g is possible thanks to the use of aluminium with a diameter of 11 mm. 

Like all Ortovox probes, the ALU 240 is equipped with a visual control system with depth markers, a pronounced mark at 1 meter and a fluorescent orange lower segment which allows the strategy required to free a victim to be optimised.
