Entry level model in Salomon’s skate ski range, the RS7 has enjoyed great success with leisure skiers these last seasons. A beginner ski that is particularly accessible with a perfectly suitable behaviour to discover the skate technique.

What are the main characteristics of the Salomon RS7 Nordic ski?

Rarely a leisure ski has been as successful as the RS7, and this is a good thing, it means more and more people are getting into XC skiing and discovering the joys of the sport. The Densolite 2000 core features glass fibre plates that stiffen the structure laterally to provide enough aggressivity for skating. The G4 base demonstrates nice gliding performances with as a bonus, a very versatile universal structure. The general behaviour of the ski allows to easily find the balance and proper posture, which is what is asked of a ski from this category. Salomon has done a great job.
