Nordic Ski S/lab Carbon Skate X-stiff

Because powerful jigs also deserve the best, this year we have selected the X-Stiff version of the S/Lab. More invigorating than the "normal" version, it is designed to give big skiers the dynamism they need to express themselves fully!

What are the characteristics of the Salomon S/Lab Carbon Skate X-Stiff?

Its particularity as previously announced is to have a more rigid camber than the normal version of the S/Lab Skate, it is therefore suitable for powerful skiers of sizes around 90Kg. We made the selection of the skis ourselves with Salomon's racing workshop to present this rather exclusive model dedicated to those who do not always find the skis that fit them. In terms of structure and construction, the base is the same as on the other version, i.e. ultra-light Nomex honeycomb core and Thin Ply Carbon Construction. This method of manufacturing with the carbon braiding that directly covers the core of the ski has a devastating effect on the relaunch with superb dynamism at the end of the push. The balanced camber and the triangle geometry with a greater structural thickness under the feet favors the performance in relaunch and stability on the glide phases. The G5 sole is of course the best from Salomon, and for more versatility we have chosen the universal structure for common snow conditions. To ski exceptional device exceptional ski, we have made sure on these models that we could sort to offer all sizes of skis that can suit them, and with the quality of glide that goes with it.
