What are the characteristics of the Alpina Elite 3.0 Skate cross-country ski boot?   

The concept of this shoe is based on its one-piece anatomical Active Edge chassis. Very light, it runs across the entire boot from the forefoot to the heel, all the way up to the underside of the malleoli. Very light and particularly rigid, this carbon sole provides fantastic lateral thrust dynamism while reducing torsion. From a longitudinal point of view, it provides all the rigidity and stability you can dream of when skating. The carbon collar is of course extremely light, it perfectly participates in stabilising the ankle and minimises lateral rotation, which favours the preservation of balance and ease of ski manoeuvrability. The liner is close to the foot and the boot feels like a second skin once put on. The 45° lacing system with flat laces is attached to nylon straps which provide a homogenous and precise wrap. If we focus purely on sensations, those who know the Alpina brand know that their boots are always at the cutting edge of technical evolution, and that in terms of snow contact, they are unquestionably the best boots on the market. The ultra-light and rigid carbon structure combined with the close fit of the Alpina Race foot works wonders, the result on the skis is simply fabulous. Alpina care and handling specifications:   

  •   Do not strike the heels together when wearing or manipulating, use a stick to remove to disengage the interlocking bar.  

  •     Use walking insoles as often as possible to avoid damaging the carbon sole.
