Description
The Black Crows Solis is a ski designed for a very specific program: steep skiing. We are talking about full commitment freeriding, in alpine terrain, on very steep slopes. A discipline that is as technical as physical, and requires skis able to offer maximum support. This is the aim of the Solis. Regarding the construction, it features a poplar/paulownia core reinforced by a titanal plate and glass and carbon fibres. As a whole, it offers a powerful flex, evenly distributed on the entire length of the ski. Regarding the shape, you find a 100 mm waist, a particularly long turn radius (25 metres!), a front rocker a subtle rear rocker. This offers very good grip, great torsional stiffness, while having the goal to facilitate pivots. While it has been developed for steep skiing, the Solis can get out of its comfort zone. It performs on long turns in the entire resort and an expert skier will totally be able to use it during a day of regular skiing.
