The Redline F2 keeps the momentum going and seduces an increasing number of skiers thanks to its perfectly balanced stability and dynamism. The ski for hard snow from Madshus is without a doubt one the most efficient in the world, the Norwegian brand has accomplished a remarkable job these past few years to come back at the forefront.

What are the characteristics of the Madshus Redline F2 Nordic ski?

Contrary to other brands, Madshus has developed its Redline range according to the type of snow and not the temperatures. The F2 is the brand’s hardpack ski and proves it with a long camber that provides more spread-out contact points to increase the aggressivity. If such a choice is possible, it is because the brand has developed the P300 Nano base that works for every temperature where you can find compact snow. It comes standard with a versatile cold structure, but of course it is possible to apply various structures by hand according to the conditions. The distinctive feature of the Redline F2 is its shorter central groove on the base compared to the competition. In terms of versatility, it is a true asset, as the ski will be less directive if the snow is deeper and transformed. When it comes to the internal construction, the Norwegian brand remains consistent with the 3D PR 100X high-density foam core fully wrapped in carbon. What we appreciate with this construction, is the very good balance between dynamism at the end of a push and the direct stability experienced when the ski touches the snow. It stands as an alternative to some brands with a very unique behaviour. For us, it is one of the most beautiful skis ever made, Madshus R&D department works continuously on these innovative technologies, and with every innovation, it is possible to notice the brand has its own idea of cross-country skiing.

All Madshus Skate skis feature NIS 7 mounting plates. These plates are exclusively suited to Rottefella bindings compatible with the NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.
