Description

A freestyle boot has different specifications and specific needs to fulfill. For instance, freestylers generally like the boot to be flexible, dampening and providing a strong heel hold. That's exactly on what Salomon's engineers focused and they designed the Savage so it was as supportive as it could be. They threw in a Balance 1 liner and backed it up with the Custom Fit concept enhancing comfort and hold thanks to inserts of thermomoldable foam in critical zones. Closure wise, the boot comes with a Boa external closure and the STR8JKT internal lacing. The combination of both maintain the foot locked in a comfortable position that doesn't loosen up after hours of riding. Finally, freestylers need a good cushioning for absorbing landing impacts. The Mystic 1 insole and the Lo-Fi outsole work together on that and do a great job.
