Amplid's Morning Glory is a snowboard designed to offer exceptional sensations in powder, while still being able to enjoy the whole area with its good skills on piste. Its directional shape with oversized nose and technical construction guarantee flotation, agility and responsiveness in all conditions. This board is aimed at riders who are looking for performance and fun, both on first tracks and on transformed snow.

What is the Amplid Morning Glory snowboard's program?

The Morning Glory's program focuses above all on freeride without being restricted exclusively to it: its camber + rocker profile combines precise grip underfoot with the natural lift provided by its wide, raised tips. Thanks to the Jekyll & Hyde geometry and the HEXO2 core lightened by a honeycomb structure, it can be ridden with agility, even in forests where the fir trees are not far apart, or when the snow becomes heavy. It's an ideal board for tracking off-piste as well as carving beautiful curves on groomed slopes.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
