Snowboard Shiloh

Like all Arbor snowboards, the Shiloh Camber benefits from a qualitative and eco-friendly construction. Most of the materials used are sustainable, with an FSC-certified wood shell, recycled steel edges, and bio-based wax and resin.

What is the Arbor Shiloh Camber snowboard programme?

The Shiloh Camber is symmetrical from nose to tail, but its binding inserts are set back a centimetre, which allows you to enter curves more easily and to ride better in powder snow, while maintaining a perfectly healthy board when switching. The poplar and paulownia wood shell is reinforced with bamboo along the edges to give you more stability while keeping the board light and pleasant to ride. This combination gives you a board that allows you to vary the terrain and enjoy yourself, with great curving skills on all types of snow, stability at high speed and playability in freestyle.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
