Description

The Bataleon Whatever X Beyond Medals is a collaboration with Tor Lündstrom and the Beyond Medals crew. Base on the Whatever, it benefits from an exclusive graphic and a bit more stiffness to enhance the pop and responsiveness. It is a board with a directional twin shape and classic camber. It offers grip and rebound, yet remains forgiving notably thanks to the 3BT and Sidekick technologies at the tips. What you need to have fun in freestyle with playfulness at the tips, good pop, but also to trace beautiful turns with good edge hold, dynamism and stability. Stiffer that the Whatever, this Beyond Medals version will satisfy demanding intermediate and advanced riders who are looking for a versatile and responsive snowboard for all-mountain freestyle riding.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
