Description

The Yeasayer Smalls snowboard has everything you need to make rapid progress. Endowed with a qualitative construction, featuring a fibreglass-reinforced wood shell, it is at the same time robust, light and quite flexible. Its flat camber makes it easy to glide, providing comfort, forgiveness and versatility.

What is the program of the Burton Yeasayer Smalls snowboard?

The Yeasayer Smalls is well balanced between accessibility and performance. Thanks to its flat camber, which offers a secure grip on the piste while remaining tolerant regarding edge faults, you can make successful turns even if your technique is not perfectly developed. Additionally, this camber works better than a classic camber on piste edges and soft snow, providing more versatility! In keeping with the idea of facility, the flexible flex allows you to ride effortlessly with no fatigue. Finally, the symmetrical shape of the board is directly inspired by freestyle boards, which allows the most reckless riders to try their first tricks!

Who is the Burton Yeasayer Smalls snowboard designed for?

We recommend this model to young snowboarders who already have some technical basics and are in need of a snowboard with which they can continue to progress. However, with its fairly soft flex and flat camber, this model can also be used by beginners.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
