Description

The DC PBJ has the classic construction and shape of a modern snowboard. Twin-tip, that is to say perfectly symmetrical between the front and the back with a centred position of the feet, it can be ridden indifferently in one direction or the other. Its classic camber is the most efficient, offering all the necessary grip on piste. Its biaxial fiberglass reinforced wood core provides ollie pop and rebound in the turns, and you just have to push a little on the camber to get a dazzling response. So, you can take advantage of it as well when you make nice turns on piste as when you want to ride a rail or place a trick on the flat. A snowboard accessible from the intermediate/confirmed level for piste and/or freestyle enthusiasts.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
