Snowboard Broadcast Design

The K2 Broadcast Design is an all-mountain freeride snowboard designed for intermediate and advanced riders who want to ride in the entire resort with a punchy and manoeuvrable model. with 2 cm of setback and a slightly directional shape, it provides ease to initiate turns and lift in powder and smoothens the handling on any terrain without preventing you from riding switch. The classic camber + rocker performs on any type of snow and the wood core reinforced by glass and carbon fibres provides lots of pop and rebound for ollies while retaining a minimum of flex for presses and to ride without destroying your legs. It is a pleasant board that remains friendly and playful. It also benefits from the Sintered 4000 base that offers good glide and great durability.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
