The K2 X Brain Dead Excavator is a versatile, powerful and playful freeride board, cut out to track hard and commit off the beaten track. It combines exemplary lift in powder with clean grip on hard snow, while remaining lively underfoot.
What's in store for the K2 K2 X Brain Dead Excavator snowboard?
Oriented as a versatile freeride board, the Excavator focuses on flotation and stability thanks to its directional shape and Directional Camber profile (camber underfoot, more pronounced rocker in the front tip) for instant lift and edge hold when the snow hardens. Volume Shift makes the board wider and shorter to gain in maneuverability without sacrificing support, while the sintered 4000 sole ensures fast, durable glide. The result: a board designed to ride fast, carve clean and exploit every face, from piste edge to powder field.
Who is the K2 K2 X Brain Dead Excavator snowboard for?
We recommend it to intermediate to advanced riders, consistent and confident on all types of terrain, who want a responsive board to speed up progression to a committed ride while retaining everyday fun.
