Snowboard Cortado

The Lib Tech Cortado is a women’s freeride and all-mountain oriented snowboard that offers good performances on any type of snow in the entire resort. It is easy to handle and manoeuvrable and allows to descend at a good pace. The slightly setback stance and the directional shape provide good control and facilitate turn initiations, while enabling to try out some switch and freestyle riding. The hybrid camber offers grip, floatability and forgiveness, while the Magne Traction edges add some bite, good responsiveness and stability without demanding too much energy either. Ideal for intermediate and advanced level female snowboarders.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
