Snowboard Dynamo

The Dynamo is an efficient and very versatile model from Lib Tech’s all-mountain range. It features a directional shape that still remains efficient in switch, while the classic camber promotes good bite on hard snow and the construction is responsive without being too energy demanding either. On the slopes, the grip of the classic camber is enhanced by the Magne-Traction edges and the construction offers responsiveness and rebound. Off-piste, it demonstrates beautiful performances in any snow condition and requires some technique to be perfectly controlled when slaloming between the trees. It is also rather balanced, allowing to do some freestyle, ride side hits or take a detour through the terrain park. Accessible from the intermediate/advanced level, you still need some good skills to exploit its full potential.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
