What is the program of the Lib Tech Skate Banana snowboard?

The Lib Tech Skate Banana has everything it takes to make it rain tricks throughout the resort. The Banana Camber technology, from which this board takes its name, is a mix of reverse camber and classic camber that takes advantage of the benefits of both types of camber. The Skate Banana is fun and easy to ride everywhere. On the slopes, it offers a secure grip and even more so with the Magne-Traction edges, while in powder, it has a rather good lift. The flex is soft enough to allow you to play with the tips for stylish presses and flat tricks. Finally, the twin-tip shape, symmetrical between the front and the back, and the well-cantered inserts, allow you to switch without any hesitation.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
